Subject: serel 0.3.3 Date: Thu, 11 Jul 2002 12:35:19 +1000 From: Leni Mayo To: serel-announce@lists.fastboot.org, serel-users@lists.fastboot.org Greetings - serel version 0.3.3 has been released, and is available for download from http://www.fastboot.org/download.html or the sourceforge mirror, http://serel.sourceforge.net. This release is primarily a bugfix release. Three new (minor) features appear: 1. A new rdf property, serel:parse, disables automatic parsing of boot scripts for dependency information. The feature allows users to retain a fast boot while avoiding buggy or security-vulnerable boot script comments. This feature is useful to users of Redhat 7.3 and limbo-beta. 2. A new configuration parameter, mangledollar, controls the mapping of Linux Standards Base facility names to legal XML name tokens. 3. Draft man pages for serelc, serelhistory and lsb2rdf. The near term priority for serel is a port to Debian. Enjoy! Leni.
